Product Description

This braided SATA power connector cable harness is designed to route stable DC power from a proprietary backplane or PSU output to a standard 15-pin SATA power connector. The assembly uses high-quality copper wire and robust crimp terminals to ensure low resistance and reliable electrical contact under continuous load.

Color-coded conductors (12 V / 5 V / 3.3 V / GND) simplify installation and troubleshooting in complex electronic systems. A durable PET braided sleeve protects the cable against abrasion while improving airflow and cable management in high-density server racks and industrial control cabinets. With full OEM/ODM customization capability, the harness can be tailored for specific PCB headers, pitch, power distribution and extra signal leads to match your automotive, storage or embedded designs.

Precautions 

Verify the pin assignment of the backplane connector before use; incorrect wiring of 12 V / 5 V / 3.3 V rails may damage drives or other electronic devices.

Do not exceed the specified current per pin; for higher power applications, request upgraded wire gauge or additional parallel pins.

Avoid crushing or sharply bending the braided cable, especially near the over-molded ends, to protect insulation and maintain long-term reliability.

Keep the harness away from hot surfaces and moving mechanical parts, and ensure proper strain relief when installed in high-vibration server or automotive environments.
